Following the AGM, three members of SeniorNet Wanaka and the Oral History Society will present on their work with cleaning and editing audio interviews for the. This will be of interest in itself, but also if you are thinking of recording interviews with family and friends.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the meeting. Other members of the local community are welcome.

Both our current rules and proposed constitution require that only members of our committee be bank signatories. We are currently in breach of this with many non-committee members and some non-members on the signatory list. Proposed: Carl Brown

Election of the Executive Committee for 2025/2026
Five of the current committee members have agreed to stand. Jan Scown (President), Neil Marshall (Secretary), Carl Brown (Treasurer), Mary Lee and Gail Marshall. In addition, Jude Frazer has agreed to be nominated. Any other nominations? A nomination form has been circulated, and nominations will be called for at the meeting. You can self-nominate.

Adoption of Constitution (See Documents below)
At the 2024 Annual General Meeting it was resolved that SeniorNet Wanaka remain an Incorporated Society under the Incorporated Society Act 2022 and that its Committee undertake the necessary actions to ensure this. The Committee has drafted a Constitution that meets the requirements of the Act and, if it is approved by this meeting, the Committee will apply to re-register under the new 2022 Act.
Resolution: That the draft Constitution included with the Notice of AGM be approved, and the Committee then apply for re-registration as an Incorporated Society under the Incorporated Society Act 2022.
